Everything Has A Purpose

The workouts that are programed. The food that you eat. The recovery you manage. The race preparation you do. It all has a purpose.

That purpose is to get you one step closer to your goal and to eventually accomplish the goal.

Most athletes are aimlessly doing workouts and trying to perform at their best. They spend enormous amounts of time making sure their bike is ready to go, but why do they not do the same for their body? Every detail from the type of grips, to the foot pegs, and tire pressure is meticulously gone through before each race. The attention to detail is their and needs to be applied to other areas.

I have been there too. I have spent countless hours working on my bike and making sure it is ready to go. I did this without taking that same time and ensuring that my body was ready to go. This caused me to get fatigued in races, not performing the way I knew I could. It was not until I started to apply that same attention to detail to my body that I started to see a change. I was performing better. Recovering better. I was better.

Apply that attention to detail to yourself and your ability to perform at a high level. That consists of fueling your body for the work you will be doing. For example, your body need carbohydrates since that is the main source of fuel during workouts. Incorporate a fuel strategy before, during, and after your races. Watch what happens when you fuel your muscles, you will feel 1000x better.

It also consists of the proper training and recovery plan. Each goal requires a unique plan. Desert racing, motocross, woods, they all have unique challenges and your plan needs to meet those unique challenges. Every workout, recovery session, and food that is consumed needs to be a step to meet that challenge. Everything has a purpose.

Your effort without direction will be wasted. That is what I want to help you with. Whatever your goal, whatever your sport, I want to take the lift of defining that purpose for you. Giving you the best chance of achieving your goal. All you have to do is execute the plan. The only question is, are you ready to execute?
